Verginiano 2020 By Il Varro

Verginiano it’s made with the Campania indigenous grape Pallagrello Bianco which is typically grown in the Caserta area. This wine is a 2020 vintage produced by Il Verro. We visited il Verro winery in December 2021. It’s President participated in one of the first evening we had at the Rari Nantes Club.

The wine presents itself with a bright straw color and golden reflections. Its viscosity is high for a white wine 14%abv. On the nose, it reveals a complex and inviting bouquet, with notes of white flowers, fresh citrus, and a pleasant hint of Mediterranean aromatic herbs. On the palate, it offers a delightful freshness accompanied by an elegant and well-balanced structure. Flavors of white peach, green apple, and a subtle minerality blend harmoniously, while the persistent finish leaves a pleasant fruity memory. The Verginiano 2020 is a refined interpretation of Pallagrello Bianco, reflecting Il Verro’s commitment and craftsmanship in producing high-quality wines.
