This is a white wine from the Vesuvio region in Campania. It’s a Lacryma Christi which is a blend of Caprettone and Falanghina. The producer is Sorrentino a winery we visited in July 2020. The wine is light straw with greenish highlights the viscosity is medium 12.5% abv. The nose is very good with notes of white peach, floral with jasmine. The palate is harmonious with a great refreshing acidity and a medium body, uncontous. In summary a very light refreshing wine , a perfect pairing with light fish dishes or aperitif. We tasted with linguine allo scoglio ( shellfish ). PM: 89
