Domaine d’Orfeuilles : Vouvray 2017 Les Coudraies

This is a white wine from the Loire Valley and from Vouvray. It’s Chenin Blanc. The wine is light straw and a medium viscosity (13% abv). The nose is superb with floral notes of jasmine , pineapple and white stones fruits, you can sense the notes of lanoline typical of Chenin Blanc. The palate confirms the nose; with a perfectly balanced acidity a unctuous feeling in the mouth also typical of Chenin Blanc and along and exceptional finishes . In summary an excellent wine, very delicate and elegant . Perfect pairing with a fish dish( we did it with grilled fish ) or it can be drank as aperitif if kept cold. PM 92
