Brusara 2023 - Ettore Sammarco

This is a white wine from the Amalfi Coast DOC of the Campania region. We visited this winery on multiple occasions. The wine is a blend of Biancolella and other indigenous white grapes of the region like Biancazita and Falanghina. The color is a yellow straw with slight golden highlights, with a medium high viscosity 13.5% abv. It greets the nose with aromas of ripe citrus, white peach, and floral undertones, interwoven with Mediterranean herbal nuances. On the palate, it is crisp and vibrant, driven by a zesty acidity that highlights flavors of lemon, green apple, and subtle minerality, a hallmark of its coastal origin. The wine's medium body is well-balanced with a lingering, clean finish, offering refreshing salinity and a touch of almond. Perfectly suited for seafood dishes, light pastas, and fresh salads, it embodies the maritime terroir of the Amalfi Coast with finesse and complexity.PM 90
