2015 Domain Laroche Chablis 1r cru Montee de Tonnerre

This is a white wine from Chablis in Borgogne. The producer is among the best in the region. Laroche. It’s made from Chardonnay grape. The color is yellow straw with some golden highlights. The color is excellent despite 6 years of aging in the bottle. The viscosity is medium (13% abv). The nose is absolutely superb with notes of lemon zest, green apple , pears and final notes of almonds. The palate is excellent and it confirms the nose with a perfectly balanced acidity, a long persistence. In summary an excellent wine from on of the most famous wine producing area in the world. The wine can be paired with any fish dish, we paired with grilled swardfish. It can be enjoyed as aperitif as well. PM: 95.
