Paolo Mittiga was born in Naples (Italy).

After graduating in Electronic Engineering from the University of Naples, he moved to United States where he held numerous senior executive positions in the Financial Industry , notably in the technology department.

In 2008 Paolo also caught the wine bug and he immersed himself in the its hard study , he gained the American Sommelier title and after that the Italian Wine Scholar. It was followed by French Wine Scholar and finally by the diploma with AIS ( Italian Sommelier Association). They were all obtained with the highest Honors.

In 2013 he founded Wine and Hedonism ( that became the Wine Voyager in 2016). 

With The Wine Voyager he has organized numerous wine events in Naples, in US and in Malta with excellent feedbacks.

He also frequently travels throughout Europe to the discovery of the best wine producers and sites. 
He is the author of wine blogs and wine tasting notes.
He lives in New Jersey for part of the year and in Pozzuoli (Naples) for most of it.
